Construction
Cantiere del Pardo garde la coque dans le moule pendant 10 jours, pendant qu’il assemble la structure en fer, ajuste la dérive et le safran, installe le moteur, l’électricité et la plomberie, assemble les intérieurs et stratifie le pont. Ce système élimine tout type de torsion ultérieure dans l’assemblage.

La coque est composé de 12 couches de tissu unidirectionnel avec résine vinylester et gelcoat isophtalique. La structure en fer est constituée d’une poutre centrale sur laquelle reposent le mât, la dérive et le moteur. Avec 5 nervures transversales, sur lesquelles reposent les cloisons. Un renfort en inox relie le gréement dormant à cette structure. Le pont est laminé à la coque avec de la résine époxy. L’ensemble de l’accastillage est vissé sur des plaques inox préalablement laminées sur le pont.
De cette façon, on obtient un ensemble solide, robuste et compact, qui définit les caractéristiques de navigation et la durabilité de ce bateau.

Observations
Elquetoudou est notre fierté et aussi une deuxième maison. C’est un bateau familial depuis le premier jour lorsqu’il a été construit pour Patricia et Daniel au Grand Soleil Cantiere del Pardo, Forli, en 2000. Bien entretenu chaque année à Sanremo pendant les 10 premières années, puis dans diverses marinas italiennes et grecques où nous avons passé l’hiver. Également en Espagne, dans la péninsule et les îles Baléares, en Sardaigne, en Sicile, à Malte, en Grèce et vice versa.
Dernièrement, en septembre-octobre 2022, il a été équipé pour traverser l’Atlantique: Installation d’un deuxième pilote automatique, panneaux solaires et batterie neuve, grand-voile refaite. Nouveau Aïs. Nouveau capotte et bimini. Nouvelles pompes de cale. Tous les vannes de coque révisés ou modifiés. Moteur reconstruit.

Entretien
Services annuels de révision de la peinture antisalissure et du moteur. Dernier sérvice en June 2022.
