The ARC is a ‘must do’ for many sailors, and attracts over 200 boats and 1200 people every year to sail 2700 NM across the Atlantic from Gran Canaria to Saint Lucia.

The ARC is for everyone; families with children, tough racers, cruising couples, big boats and modest boats. Crossing the Atlantic together, but having their own adventures. More than just a boat race, the ARC is about friendships made ashore in the two weeks of pre-departure activities continued over the radio net at sea. It’s about arriving in Saint Lucia to be met on the dock with a rum punch and a chilled beer, knowing you have achieved something fantastic – crossing an ocean on a small sailboat.

There are plenty of activities organised by the ARC over the coming days – the aim of the programme is to help crews prepare and also relax before the voyage, so come start day everyone’s in the best possible shape for the crossing. For crews already in Las Palmas, information about the programme is available in the Shop, via daily emails and morning broadcasts and in the pack of information provided at check-in.

Del 3 al 11 de diciembre, el Nautic – Salon Nautique International de Paris, abrirá sus puertas a todos los sectores de la náutica de recreo en la Porte de Versailles. Creador del SUP Nautic Paris Crossing, la carrera más importante del stand up paddle Mundial.

Este salón pone en marcha también un concurso de pesca deportiva el 10 de diciembre: le NAUTIC STREET FISHING.

Durante este gran evento de la náutica, el astillero ELAN YACHTS, presentará el nuevo modelo GT5 en primicia mundial.

The Multihull Show was created back in 2010 with the aim of presenting catamarans and trimarans in the water.
The original concept was to set up a version on the Atlantic coast in even years and in the Mediterranean in odd years. The first editions of the event were thus shared by Lorient (Brittany) and La Grande-Motte (South of France).
Now to suit the requirements of boat-builders, the Show is held every year in April in La Grande-Motte.

2010 -Lorient/ The maiden edition… for the first time in the world! – 50 multihulls were on show in the water in the dock at the Cité de la Voile -Eric TABARLY.

2011 – La Grande-Motte, the first edition in theMediterranean; 60 multihulls on show in the water;

2012 – Back to the Atlantic – Northern Europegets involved and in spite of the unfavourable conditions (horrible weather…) the event had established itself as a regular Show.

2013 – The fourth edition lived up to its promise – the show moved permanently to theMediterranean. With 40% of the visitors coming from abroad, the international development strategy was working out.

2014 – A truly international event – The concept fitted in perfectly with the requirements of boat-builders. Visitors came from around the world to discover the wide range of boats on offer.

2015 – An economic success: If we look at the number of boats sold, this was the most successful edition and pleased all the boat-builders.

2016 – Record-breaking visitor numbers and sales; the International Multihull Show confirmed its position as a major event on the international boating calendar.

2017 – from 19th to 23rd April – Bigger and better, a promising year…

Layout

The aft deck shares the same level as the bathing platform and saloon. It has a generously sized, comfortable L-shaped sofa for five persons with foldable seating. The dining table folds down into a cocktail table with glass holders with stainless steel handles. Perfect for relaxing or social activities with friends and family. The interior of the boat is of wonderful quality and atmosphere, particularly in regard to space and light.
