With her new visual identity, the 40 immediately stands out. While faithful to the image of Lagoon’s “DNA”, a new style is born: an individual, streamlined and accomplished design depicts her large portholes and panoramic view. This creates a refined and high-performance unit, emphasised by the chamfer running from the bow to the stern. A new generation Lagoon, recognisable at first sight.

Exterior: space and comfort

A comfortable cockpit looking out to sea: a starboard dining table, able to accommodate up to twelve guests, a recreation area on the same side and seating at the rear beam.

An ergonomic helm station accessible from the cockpit or deck, thus enabling communication between the skipper and crew at all times.

Large aft transoms with a spacious swim platform, allowing simple access to the tender and safe, easy boarding.

New generation rigging: performance and simplicity

A symbol of the new generation Lagoons, the 40 is endowed with advanced performance features: a VPLP hull structure and an increased sail area provide a better sail surface area / displacement ratio. The decision to position the mast step further aft, which stems directly from VPLP’s experience in competitive sailing, provides this catamaran with multiple advantages:

– A self-tacking jib for simplified manoeuvres.

– A large forward triangle for a wider choice of downwind sails: a guarantee of performance.

– A shorter boom for ease of manoeuvring.

COMPROMISOS SOSTENIBLES

Sidewalk design – extra space and safety
“Sidewalk” is an asymmetrical deck layout where the side deck along the starboard side is extra wide and provides safe and generous freedom of movement. It becomes convenient and enjoyable to move about on-board from bow to stern, and easy to get on and off the boat along the entire starboard side. Maximum use is made of the interior volume, allowing the cockpit, saloon, lower deck and cabin to be larger than would otherwise be the case in a boat of this size. An important feature of the Nimbus sidewalk design concept is the large flush fitted sliding door to starboard. The sliding door provides quick access when docking alongside and enables manoeuvring the boat from a standing position on the side deck.

Optimised for speeds from 0 to 22 knots
In practice, the 305 has no real planing threshold and returns low fuel consumption at allspeeds. Speed can be adjusted to weather conditions, which provides better safety, comfortand the best possible ride from which to appreciate your natural surroundings.

A helm with great flexibility

The helm has been maximised to provide the greatest possible flexibility and can be equipped with accessories according to individual requirements. Glued windows with a large, curved windscreen provide a great panoramic view. The saloon features large flat surfaces and is both light and airy and cosy, thanks to choice of materials and LED-lighting. The large glass roof openings and opening roof hatches provides generous light. A dinette solution provides plenty of room for four people and converts easily into a double berth. Side-walk design concept

Contemporary look and extremely quiet saloon

The saloon has an open Scandinavian layout with large flat surfaces and is light and airy, roomy and modern, but made cosy at the same time by special lighting, wood fittings and attractive seating and cushion covers. The beautifully finished joinery in the saloon and cockpit exude a wonderful feeling of handcraft and quality. The large U-sofa seats 6-8. The dining table folds down into a cocktail table with glass holders, making the saloon a handy place for socialising.

Panoramic glass roof

Large electric sliding glass roof with integrated sun blinds. When fully opened it provides a airy feeling inside – it is almost as being outside. And with a touch of a button it offers perfect protection from occaisonal raindrops.

Clever dashboard hideaway

The helm has been re-modelled and the instrument panel is fitted with two Simrad 12 inch touch plotters and smart storage. Visibility is exemplary due to uncluttered surfaces matt finish anti-reflecting materials.

Three luxurious two berth cabins

There are three two berth cabins, one master cabin with ensuite bathroom, the other two cabins sharing a shower and head. Light flows in through the master cabins large skylight and provides a feeling of space.

Galley in size XL

Extra large galley with ceramic gas hob and dark composite worktop, 120 litre capacity fridge plus extra cool storage in pull-out drawers beneath the saloon sofa. The module designed galley (60CC) allows customised installations such as micro, electric hob, dishwasher, choice of ovens (electric or LPG). The galley is fitted with a fan that can be installed in the upper cupboard above the hob.

The exemplary helm position

Ergonomic and aesthetically pleasing design with everything where it should be. All switches and controls are easy to reach. Standard equipment includes twin Simrad 12 inch plotter placed in the centre of the dash, echo sounder, log and trip computer with fuel consumption. Colours and material reduce reflection and provide an exclusive muted appearance. The sliding door provides quick access to the side deck and also make it possible to manoeuvre the boat from a standing position outside.

Sidewalk design – extra space and safety
“Sidewalk” is an asymmetrical deck layout where the side deck along the starboard side is extra wide and provides safe and generous freedom of movement. It becomes convenient and enjoyable to move about on-board from bow to stern, and easy to get on and off the boat along the entire starboard side. Maximum use is made of the interior volume, allowing the cockpit, saloon, lower deck and cabin to be larger than would otherwise be the case in a boat of this size. An important feature of the Nimbus sidewalk design concept is the large flush fitted sliding door to starboard. The sliding door provides quick access when docking alongside and enables manoeuvring the boat from a standing position on the side deck.

Optimised for speeds from 0 to 22 knots
In practice, the 305 has no real planing threshold and returns low fuel consumption at allspeeds. Speed can be adjusted to weather conditions, which provides better safety, comfortand the best possible ride from which to appreciate your natural surroundings.

The T9 is the first model in our new Tender series, Nimbus’ new interpretation of the popular Nova, first introduced in 1991. Since then, approximately 2,300 boats have been produced in the Nimbus Nova series, among them the highly successful 26 Nova and the prize-winning R-series that included the 230R, 250R and 300R.

“The renewal of a series that has proved so successful, and that is so strongly associated with Nimbus’ DNA and brand, is no easy task. This heritage has truly permeated every area and phase, from concept design, construction, functionality and appearance down to the finest details. Everyone involved has worked with the aim of making the T9 the best product conceivable and thus a worthy successor to the Nova,” says Joacim Gustavsson, Chief Designer at Nimbus Boats Sweden AB.

The Tender 9 is a nine-metre day boat that offers great opportunities for individual adaption and is intended for all types of day-to-day activities, such as transportation, water sports and leisure activities.

As with the W9, the T9 can be equipped with either an outboard or inboard engine. The after-deck can be fitted-out with a straight aft sofa that provides considerably more space. Alternatively, it can be configured with a u-sofa with seating for 5 that easily converts to a sunbed. There is an option for a wet-bar with a hand basin behind the driver’s seat. The module also functions as support while on the water or in port. The boat is available with three different canopy solutions – harbor cover, helm canopy or as a T-top design with large openable roof. The cockpit has room for two people and has the same look and feel as the W9. It can be equipped with one large 16” or two 12” chart plotters. The fore deck features a large loading hatch with access to the cabin. The fore deck offers an optional daybed which creates an extra seating area that seats 4 people with a table.

One smart way to make the most of the after-deck area are spare cushions that can be placed on the railing, offering both extra seating and a cosier atmosphere. Below deck is a large berth for two with integrated ventilation, ample stowage and separate WC with sink.

“The T9 is something of a chameleon and can adapt to most situations, for example transportation to and from a holiday home for most of the year, as a tender for a larger boat, for a variety of water sports, sea fishing, overnight accommodation or onboard social activities with friends and family. The advantage to the fact that at the design stage we were already considering the need for versatility with many areas of use, is that there are a great many options available when equipping the boat, depending on its intended purpose,” says Jonas Göthberg, Marketing Manager at Nimbus.

The T9 is based on the same well-balanced stepped hull as the W9. The boat has a low planning threshold and a cruising speed of between 20-35 knots, with a maximum speed of +40 knots.

Who is the T9 aimed at?
The Nimbus T9 is a boat for those who appreciate meticulous contemporary Scandinavian design and value well-though-out solutions and smart functionality that provide a comfortable and safe boat life with almost unlimited possibilities. There are currently two additional models planned for the Tender series, in the form of 8 and 11 metre.

Efficient and spacious hull

The hull of the Dufour 360 Grand Large has been designed to provide the best balance between sailing sensations and space onboard, both on and below deck. The optimization of the rudder, the wide aft beam and the long shines ensure great stability on all routes.

A new roof design

The Dufour 360 Grand Large is the first model of the range fitted with the new Grand Large 3.0 roof design. Inspired by the standards of larger models, this new deck provides new innovative features.

Optimization of the helm station

The helm station has been completely redesigned to optimize the helmsman’s environment. The new columns and their consoles, as well as the ideal position of the rear winches, increase the circulation space and facilitate manoeuvres while short handed.

A new spacious and functional cockpit

Included and well appreciated over of the full range, the Dufour 360 Grand Large also features the essential outside galley equipped with barbecue and a sink concealed by the rear seats. You will notice the very large bathing platform offering twice the volume of its predecessor.

New hull design – wink to Exclusive range

The 390 Grand Large presents the next generation of Dufour Grand Large hulls.

The signature of Umberto Felci, with the recent innovations inspired from the Dufour Exclusive range, is distinguished by the bulwarks

integration and the magnificent hull recess.

Furthermore, the important front volume and modern aft shines lines make this hull more spacious and performant.

Hull development

The research that is at the base of the new Dufour 390 Grand Large hull has led to optimizing the ratio between the maximum navigation efficiency and the need to offer ever greater and better exploitable interior volumes.

The new hull, wide and flat, which finds its maximum expression downwind, is however very performing even upwind, thanks above all to the new “stern to bow” hull volumes development.

New deck design – complete modernization

The new deck design is a prowess of balance between stunning aesthetic, correct dimension of each area and ingeniosity to integrate new functions.

The roof proportions have evolved in comparison with Grand Large predecessors and now offer more interior space while conserving pleasant sidedeck width, as distinction value of Dufour sail yachts.

Exterior equipment – increasing standard

The D390 shows a consistent evolution of her standard equipments.

Among the novelties, we distinguish the elegant pod consoles, the sublime ladder integrated in the aft platform, the double batten companion way and the led dressing all around the deck.

Quality interiors – Millesime 2019

The Dufour 390 benefits from all the Dufour Yacht know-how in terms of interior layouts and finishing. It integers a solid and functional furnitures.

The cabins and heads are spacious and dressed with top quality materials.
